Qualification:
1) NET/SLET*+ Ph.D. is the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment.
2) Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master?s degree level, in the relevant subject, in the concerned area from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

2. Qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/ SET in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
3. Holders of Ph.D. Degree in compliance of UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil. / Ph.D. Degree), Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Desirable Qualification:
Microsoft MCSA, CISCO, CCNA, CISSP and / or any other equivalent certifications.
Remuneration: Rs. 35000 – 40000 per month (consolidated),
