Applications are invited from Unmarried/ Married Male and Unmarried female or widow of defence personnel candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

Qualification:
Degree of a recognized university or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Service in NCC: Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of N.C.C.

The Indian Army Recruits 10+2(PCM) Candidates In 2010
25th 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course Commencing from July 2011The Indian Army invites applications from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.
Posts: 85Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400
Age: Min 16 years and half & Max 19 and half years
Qualification:
10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.
Physical Standard:
Min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18
Type of Commission:
On susccessful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.

Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 13th February 2011 for admission to the under mentioned courses. Examination Notice No. 02/2011-CDS-I. UPSC CDS Examination (I), 2011 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy for the courses commencing in January 2012 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the Courses (Men and Women) commencing in April 2012.

5. Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 9th SSC Women Non-Technical Course (Unmarried Women) 25 Born not earlier than 02/01/1987 and not later than 01/01/1993 Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
Application Fee: Candidates applying offline Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/all female candidates are exempted from payment of fees. Candidates applying Online are required to pay reduced fee of Rs.50/- in any brach of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
